Abstract

Most of the species records of marine benthic diatoms for Mexican littorals they correspond mainly to the northwest of the country. The latest studies on this topic in this region include Laguna Guerrero Negro (LGN), Baja California-Baja Southern California. In this report six new taxonomic records are described and represented iconographically. of benthic diatoms for the Mexican coastlines, in mostly rare, coming from LGN sediments.
