With his departure on February 2, 2019, UNAM lost the Polytechnic Most Polytechnic of the Pumas, since it always considered the National Polytechnic Institute as its alma mater. Francisco, the one with republican austerity, admirer of Juárez, lover of books, poetry, social gatherings and good talks. Francisco, the most enlightened person I ever met and whom I always boasted of as the most cultured biologist in biology. We will miss you.
