Dr. Héctor Mayagoitia Domínguez was a scientist and academic with a formidable career in national public administration. During his professional life, he promoted an tireless work to favor that technological training in Mexico was configured as one of the main strategies to contribute to counteract the various causes of environmental deterioration; in particular, the manifestations of global warming, which was throughout his long and prolific professional life, the object of a continuous work of research, dissemination and management at the forefront of the various areas of his performance, culminating his work by giving life to the Polytechnic Coordination for Sustainability.
